I feel every little bump with this rod! Huge fan of the look of it as well. I got the 7' medium and it covers everything finesse.

Bottom Line

The Daiwa Tatula is a superb spinning rod by Daiwa which has racked up only positive reviews. A soft tip that quickly goes into the backbone means you're feeling all bites, but quickly going into the backbone of the rod. This rod can handle seriously large species, and is perfectly balanced to help with comfort. This rod has the same blank as the Tatula Elite, but just has different line guides - which are built to handle saltwater better. This may be a better option however, as you'll be saving some cash.
