Reasons to buy

  • The Tatula LT is Daiwa's finest release for bass-specific angling
  • Crafted with a Zaion body - a high-density carbon resin that provides immense strength while remaining incredibly light
  • Very smooth operation with casting ability that matches any serious competitors
  • Large spool with immense line capacity, for all line types
  • Automatic Tournament Drag reduces initial drag start-up speed, leading to a smoother drag for the hook up
  • Organized line lay with minimal tangling
  • Machine cut handle is thinner and lighter than ever, without comprising on strength
  • Compared with the likes of the Stradic FL

Reasons not to buy

  • Users have said there is a 'plastic' feeling about this reel with certain components, such as the drag dial
  • Anglers have had issues with adjusting the drag to their liking
  • A more expensive spinning reel option

Seriously good performance for this price range. Absolute work horse of a reel that feels great to use. You will struggle to find a reel smoother than this for the price.

Love the performance of this reel. Would prefer if the drag dial was made of aluminum as well! Feels quite plasticy.

Amazing finesse reel! The Tatula has quickly become one of my favorites from Daiwa.

Bottom Line

The Tatula LT has become a successful spinning reel for Daiwa and has racked plenty of positive reviews. This is a more expensive option, which provides impressive all round performance. It is extremely lightweight and very smooth making this a delight to fish with for hours.
