Amazing rod! Similar performance to some others in the Shimano family but the G-Alpha grip adds a unique but pretty awesome feel to it - epic for rainy weather

Bottom Line

The Intenza is a modern spinning rod that offers extremely versatile performance. There are 4 model options for spinning rods, and 11 options for casting rods, meaning there's an Intenza for every technique.

These rods only come in fast/extra fast options, making for a strong hookset and a nearby backbone. A classy design by Shimano falls into a friendly price region.
